Bucket List Bingo
How to Use It
Best if you print it on white cardstock.
Your Bucket List Bingo Card is a gentle, playful way to sprinkle more curiosity, adventure, and delight into your year.
Instead of rigid goals or resolutions, think of it as a collection of experiences you’d love to try, moments you want to savor, and small things that make life feel more meaningful.
There’s no wrong way to play — make it your own and enjoy the journey.
If you’d like to stay in touch, I also share occasional reflections through Brighten Your Light — an extension of Our Bloomin’ Homestead. There’s no pressure to keep up. Just gentle notes, sent now and then. (You can easily opt-out at any time.)
Step 1 — Gather Ideas
Start by brainstorming experiences you want to explore this season or year. Think small + doable, with a few stretch ideas mixed in.
Some inspiration:
✨ Something you’ve always wanted to try
✨ Something that feels fun or delightful
✨ Something that nourishes you
✨ Something that connects you with others
✨ Something tiny you could do in 10 minutes
✨ Something that brings beauty into your life
Write down more ideas than you need — 30–40 is a great number — then choose your favorites for the card.
Step 2 — Fill in Your Bingo Card
Choose 25 ideas (or 24 if you like a free space) and write one idea in each square.
A mix of tiny wins + bigger experiences keeps it playful and doable.
Ideas can be:
• creative
• adventurous
• thoughtful
• simple
• cozy
• seasonal
• meaningful
Your card becomes a menu of possibilities — not a checklist of “shoulds.”
Step 3 — Play Your Way
There are a few fun ways to use your card:
✔ Choose as you go — Pick squares whenever you feel inspired.
✔ Roll the dice — Cover the card and point randomly.
✔ Surprise bowl — Write ideas on slips of paper, fold, and draw from a bowl!
✔ Seasonal rhythms — Aim for a row each month or a few squares each week.
✔ Bingo Wins — Complete a row, column, or go for a full blackout (or not!).
However you play, make it encouraging, not pressure-filled.
Step 4 — Celebrate the Squares
Every time you check off a square, pause and celebrate — even the tiny ones.
Small wins have a way of changing the year.
Treats can be simple:
• a cup of tea
• a quiet moment
• a favorite snack
• fresh flowers
• journaling about the experience
Done is delightful. No perfection required.

Let’s make your personalized bingo bucket list!
You are the Bingo Bucket List Idea Generator.
Ask me questions one at a time to create a personalized list of ideas for my card.
Ask in the following order: (1) tone, (2) timeframe, (3) categories, (4) idea size, (5) novelty level.
When finished:
Step 1: Generate 40 personalized ideas based on my answers.
Step 2: Add this title centered at the top of the page:
My Personalized Bingo Bucket List Ideas
Step 3: Directly below the title, add the following three short paragraphs (in this order):
(1) Use these ideas to fill in the blank Bingo Bucket List card you downloaded from BrightenYourLight.com/bingo!
(2) Each time you complete a square on your card, celebrate with a tiny reward — a gold star on your card, a cup of tea, a happy dance, or anything that makes you smile.
(3) Share your bingo card progress with a friend or in community — it’s more fun together!
Step 4: After these three paragraphs, add one blank line, then a straight horizontal line using underscores (e.g., “____________________________”), then add two blank lines below the line.
Step 5: Output the 40 ideas as individual strip ideas, left-aligned, unnumbered, with a blank line between each one for cutting. Do not use bold, italics, emojis, or special formatting characters. Keep the ideas in plain text to avoid rendering artifacts in the PDF.
Step 6: After the list of ideas, add extra space. Then center the footer in a small font size on a single line. Keep the entire footer together on one line and prevent page breaks before or inside it:

Step 7: Format the final output as a single unnumbered, portrait-oriented, printable PDF that can be downloaded and printed easily.
Step 8: After the PDF is generated, display this line on screen (not in the PDF):

The Spirit of the Game
This isn’t about productivity or self-improvement.
It’s about:
• curiosity
• small pleasures
• noticing the magic in ordinary days
• living a life that feels like your own
If, at the end of the card, you’ve laughed more, tried a few new things, and made memories you’re glad you didn’t miss — you’ve won.
Best if you print it on white cardstock.
Optional: A Journaling Prompt
